Animism

As I wander through the forest with my camera, the sandstone begins to stir. Mosses and ferns pull me back into deep time. Trees watch from behind their cyclopean eyes. The forest is not merely a landscape, but a bestiary of faces, appearing to those who take the time to look.

Animism is a silent conversation with these mineral and vegetal creatures. Each image catches a moment when the forest breathes, when stone begins to whisper, when everything seems to come alive. All it takes is to slow down, to listen, and to let emerge what usually remains hidden.

Exhibited at Salle Hippolyte Bayard, Moret-sur-Loing, May–June 2026
